I thought I read recently that some of the rooms at AKL have fridge's. Can anyone verify this?

We had fridges in our two rooms in November. I am not 100% sure that they are permanently there; but it looked that way to me. Put a request for a fridge on your reservation just in case.

We had fridges in both rooms, we have stayed twice in the past couple months.

All deluxe and moderate resorts should have both coffee makers and refrigerators, free of charge, now.

It is my understanding that if for some reason you don't have them in your room, you can call guest services, and they will bring one right up!

We had one in our pool view room in February. Worked great. I thought I read they were now in all deluxe resort rooms.

would a gallon of milk fit in the fridge at AKL?

with room for a few beers for dad! :cool1:

My parents stayed in a Savannah room at DAKLodge in December. The fridge goes to the right of the armoire that holds the tv. Not too much room but it fits. All Deluxe AND Moderate Resort rooms now have complimentary refrigerators and coffee makers. No need to add it as a special request to your reservation!!!

Now I'm glad we are renting a car so I can pick up some waters for less than $2 a piece!!!!! And some fruit. That is my only Disney complaint, the price of water and the quality of the fruit available. :cheer2:

I know that they're tiny fridges, but do they hold a carton of milk? My daughter is drinking whole milk now and it would be much cheaper and easier to get it at our grocery stop and keep it in the fridge if it will fit. Otherwise I guess we'll just get one each day. We'd probably get one of the tall, skinny cartons (I think quart, but I'm so bad with liquid measures!), since when we're in the parks we'd probably just buy a tiny carton if she wants it at a meal, but generally she drinks water. So we'd just use the milk in the morning and before bed, so just the small carton would be fine. Will this fit in the fridge?

Maybe one with a screw on top would be OK so you can lay it down across the shelf if it won't fit standing. JMO.

Last year it was $15 and were first come, first served. I don't believe they guarantee one unless you need it for meds.

Good luck!

We had a fridge in our (very) standard room last month. We had a half-gallon of milk standing upright in it. Along with a few waters and some sodas. Oh and a pack of zebra domes... :teeth:

I really don't know if a full gallon would fit standing upright. It might fit sideways if you took out the shelves... I'm sorry, I just don't know for sure since we didn't try it.

Thanks!! I guess for that price, if I want one bad enough I can upgrade to a mod.
