Does Akershus still have fish dishes at the cold buffet?

We've always loved the old Akershus, and were wondering if the new menu has some fish dishes (herring, smoked salmon, etc.) - the menu the DIS has just states meat on their cold table. We do not need the Princess part of the meal, but are willing to go just for food if it similar - last time the hot food were by order only which was OK.

Thanks -

We went for lunch on 12/2. They had tons of fish on the cold buffet, and I had the smoked salmon sandwich. I have a menu upstairs and will try to post it tomorrow for you. DH and I loved the food. I could have just eaten the cold buffet. The salads were delicious!

Mmmmm thats sounding hopeful about the cold fish being back on the buffet menu, now just need a further few changes made and it will be back to normal ;) :)

They had 3 or 4 types of Herring, salmon, meats (ham and turkey), shrimp and shrimp salad. Lots of other salads too. Oh, and several egg dishes and pickled items all on the cold buffet. It was delicious!

Sounding good! One more change and I'll be very happy!

We ate lunch there on Thursday and LOVED it. They had two types of (it looked smoked) fish, fresh salmon and shrimp salad. Yum. This is one of my new favorite restaurants, plus the servers were so wonderful and kind. Our waitress even sang happy birthday to my daughter in Norweigan. All the years I have been going to WDW and this is the first time I tried it. It took the Princesses to get me in the door (7 year old daughter) but I would go back without them!
