Does Airborne Cold Remedy really work?

I walked by a store display yesterday and started to buy some just to have on hand. I've never used it though and would like to hear from anyone that has. Does it REALLY do any good?

I always get sick on every vacation. I took it faithfully before, during and after (not necessarily every 3 hours) and I didn't get sick. We were gone for 2-1/2 weeks.
Everytime I get a scratchy throat, it becomes a sinus infection or bronchitis. I got one and started taking the airborne every 3 hours. The scratchy throat came and went for a couple of weeks, but that was it, no bronchitis, no sinus infection.
I will always have this on hand from now on.

I took it last year and didn't get sick....used it mostly for when I was going to be around a lg. crowd at figure skating competitions. I saw the other day wal-mart has there own brand now. I think I will use it again. hope that helps

Yes!! You have to take it as soon as you start to get a scratchy throat or stuffy nose, and you have to take it fairly often for a day or two. If I do that it works. If you take it after you have had cold symptoms for a while, it won't work. It does work with colds, but not the flu or allergies.

I have used it with good results. I suggested my DM try it and she swears by it. She is a true believer!

We us it when travelling, or when in crowds. Works for us.

I few weeks ago, I bought the lemon/lime flavored Airborn at Walmart. I've tried it a couple of times already. Not sure yet if it works for me, but the lemon/lime flavored tablet that dissolves in water tasted ok to me. I don't know what the regular flavor tastes like, that's why I picked out the lemon/lime flavor instead.

I took it all last year and was not sick once, even though my daughter was sick the whole winter long I never caught anything from her! I had a sniffle once and doubled what I was taking and it never went into anyhting more than that! I swear b y the stuff! The lemon lime one is better than the orangey one...I disolve it in a shot glass and just take it that way, I can't drink a whole glass of water with that!

Well, Me and DH have been using it this year. As far as we can tell, it works. It is hard to say for sure since we start using it as soon as we feel iffy, and who knows if we were even really getting sick?

My DH did take it when he started getting a cold. His sinuses were acting up. It never seemed to really turn into a full blown cold though, and he was as good as new in just a couple days.

We'll keep using it.

It's worked for me the few times I've taken it. I will admit to doing something really stupid with it that should give people a good laugh. I didn't read the instructions the first time I took it and throught the tablets were supposed to just be chewed. All I can say is the stuff really is

I use it along with Zicam and Coldeze cough drops. The combination works, definitely for me. Start with it right when you feel something coming on.
Airborne is a little hard to swallow but when you are really motivated you can stand anything for a minute or two. I hold my breath. If you are all stopped up, it should not even matter, you probably can't taste anything anyways.

Thats pretty funny....my brother did the same thing!!
I put it in his Christmas stocking and that day he says "gee its like eating an alka seltzer pill"....I said "YOU ATE IT??? he said yes and its horrible LOL...

I love Airborne, I didn't get sick all last winter. Everytime I feel like I'm going to get something I plop one in my poland spring water bottle each day until I feel like I'm "out of the woods". I've already gotten a tinge of a sore throat this fall and Airborne took it right away.
I don't think I'll ever live without it again, I used to get sick all the time.
