does a REHEARSAL DINNER count towards the MINIMUM ?

or does only the stuff ON your wedding day count towards the disney minimum?

does hair and makeup count towards the minimum?

acutally, does anyone have a complete list of all the stuff that DOES count?

The only things that count towards your custom wedding minimum are services rendered ON your wedding day BY disney. For example, the MK photo session can count towards your minimum if you do it the morning of your wedding. Otherwise, it will not. As the cosmetology dept at Disney was closed, these services no longer count toward your minimum. You need to hire an outside person. Services included in the minimum (if you use Disney) are: site fees (ceremony and reception), transportation, photography, videography, floral, other decor (linens, special lighting, etc), characters, music, cake, and catering. Unfortunately, the tax and gratuity on these items does NOT count towards the minimum. For example, if the cake costs $950 before tax and tip, that is the sum applicable to the minimum....not the actual total. Photography, videography, and floral are the items most often purchased outside of Disney. If you can meet the minimum with everything else, outside companies can sometimes offer better prices than Disney. I hope this clears up some of the confusion.

Our Rehearsal Dinner counts towards the minimum and we are having it the night before the wedding. The best thing is to ask - that's what we did.

I asked my SM if I had a rehearsal dinner/ dessert party the night before my wedding if it counted towards the minimum and she said "yes, if it needs to". I think if you are having trouble meeting your minimum, then you can count other things Disney. Like dsnyfan6/18 said, best thing to do is ask. Good luck
