Does a crowd calendar exist for Universal?

I'm wondering if there is a service (free or fee-based) that predicts crowd levels for the Universal parks for specific upcoming dates? Like Touring Plans does for Disney...

The longer version of my question is...we are at Disney in mid-January, and are considering doing Harry Potter, but it's only worth it to us if we know what the crowd levels will be. We have annual passes to Disney and so don't want to spend the extra $300 on HP if it's packed (we'd probably just do it on a future trip).

Thanks for any info you can give. We don't know much about Universal...

look at the UO calendar for dates and epp costs.

when you see a low ep cost, this means UO is anticipating a low crowd day.
when it is high, just the opposite.
(The cost of the ep can change upwards if UO assumes crowd levels will increase for a date.)

since you are used to the motherland touring plans, most of them use a number system to determine the crowd level for their parks.

i'm sure it is a good guide line for helping those trying to decide which park to do on a certain day.

i am aware that the number system can change at anytime as the same way UO makes their changes for epp costs.

the motherland is huge.
4 parks, dtd and water parks.
the darkside has 2 parks, city walk and a mini golf opening in the spring.
big size difference!

if you are new to the darkside, avoid the weekends as they bring in more locals same as the motherland does.
Sundays are low crowds as long as it is not part of a holiday weekend.
same goes for Mondays.
generally, T-W-Th are the best times to visit, outside of the present week we are in.

during certain periods in the year, attendance is up at universal as the same for the other parks in orlando/florida area.

Spring break/Easter, 4th of July, Tday weekend, Christmas thru first week of January, and summer are the most crowded periods for UO.

there are some apps for your cell that will help you in crowds for rides at UO.
