Does a Canadian Safeway card work?

Anyone know if my Safeway card will work at Von's? Can I give them my number or do I need the actual card?

Work for what? You mean the Club Card that gives you discounts?

I know my Safeway card works at Safeway's in the states, even for fuel discount.
Not sure about Von's tho as I've never been in one.
