Does a baby count in the ADR?

My TA booked CRT for us for a party of 5. We're on the dining plan, so our cc was used to hold the res. We have 3 adults, one junior and one (non-eating) infant. I asked her how the baby counted and she didn't have a clear answer. Will our cc be charged for that 5th person, since it's the infant and obviously won't be ordering a meal?

No charge for children under 3. Children under 3 do count toward seating arrangements, capacity, etc., so it is important that they be included on the reservation.

The only thing I'd be unsure of is whether or not you'd be charged for the extra "seat" in the event of a no-show, but I doubt it if it's on the reservation as an infant.

NO, it' doesn't count, but they do count the baby as a person at the table so they get you the appropriate size table or for a highchair/infant seat. No worries!!

I called Disney anyway because I couldn't get a straight answer from the TA and while she was telling me not to worry about the baby, it turned out she actually left out an adult on the reservation, but the infant was there. I am so glad I called - they fixed it no problem. But I was told that if I had added the extra adult and it put the number in the party over 8, they wouldn't have been able to do it. It would require a larger table/two tables and they didn't have any availability. The TA had booked the ADR back in Nov., so I would have been so upset if our party was larger and we couldn't keep the res. because of the error.
I think I'll be booking all my ADR's on my own from now on. The CM on the phone was great.
