We are a party of five -- two adults and three children (none of which are teenagers). Do we need to bring a birth certificate, passport and some other form of picture ID for everyone when boarding the ship? :earsboy:

If you are all US citizens, and you're sailing this year (2005), then you all need either a passport, OR and official birth certificate w/ a raised seal (issued by the local or state govt--hospital copy is not an official birth cert), and the adults need photo id too (like a drivers license).

If you're sailing in 2006, it looks like you'll need a passport. It looks like Congress is going to sign into law that everyone will need a passport to go to the Caribbean, Canada & Mexico.

Hope this helps!

Just for clarification .. it's got nothing to do with Congress .. it's new policies currently PENDING in the State Dept, but does look like it will be adopted that passports will eventually be required for all travel outside of the US (starting with the Caribbean in 2006, Canada & Mexico in 2007, etc.)
