I liked the Christmas special, but I thought the ending could have been better and they could have found a way for the girl/Katherine Jenkins/whatever her character's name was to survive..

I did the exact same thing!
My sister had never seen the show before and my dad never saw the episodes with the fez so they were both like... "Er.. wth?" XD

Anyone notice during the Christmas Eves bit, that the Doctor and Kazran were wearing fezes at one point..?

It was based off of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol, have you never read or seen any of the adaptations of it? If not it wouldn't make sense to you.

The Doctor did a lot of running, to and from the Tardis.

I turned my dad into one. I was watching one of the new episodes and he popped in and was like, "Oh, what's that?" Then proceeded to watch the rest of the marathon with me.

My dad was the one who made me like Doctor Who haha. When it came back in 2005, he was all "oh I used to watch this as a kid! We're watching it okay" and I was like "ugh okay whatever" and yeah we watched it every week. :3
I made my brother love it though. He never liked it and then about halfway through series 5, I made him watch it with me and he loves it now lol.

Doctor who marathon today I believe.

George, here, made me like doctor who. lol.
I was like, ehhh, I didn't really want to watch it.
Then I did and I loved it.

Nobody in my family will watch it though.
I nagged at my friend until she did, she likes it, but doesn't watch it alot.
Showed two other friends and they laughed and thought I was a loser. ;(

I think I got a few people on here to watch Doctor Who by making them watch Blink

I don't remember if anyone got me to watch Doctor Who or not. I remember never watching the first season, no matter everyone in my family telling me I should watch it. I finally watched the last 15-20 minutes of the last episode for some reason, and I didn't really care for it. When the christmas episode came around, I wanted to watch it, mainly because it was a christmas episode, and who doesn't love christmas shows? That's what got me hooked on Doctor Who.

I had heard about it from various people but really was not interested.
Then my best friend and I were hanging out at her brothers house and his room mate was watching The Time of Angels and Flesh and Stone. We had nothing to do so we watched it with him and were hooked in minutes. The next time I was over her house we found out that she had all the episodes on demand and watched them all. Totally fell in love with it and the Doctor. <3

I started watcahing Doctor Who because Kayla mentioned there was a marathon on and I thought "eh,why not?" And then I was hooked.

I got hooked thanks to my dad and David Tennant (seriously). He and my mom used to watch the old series every week, so when it came back he watched it. Originally I hated it and would complain and leave the room whenever he turned it on.

But one time when he was watching Christmas Invasion I walked in on him and saw David Tennant and recognized him from somewhere (which I later realized was Harry Potter GoF). I sat and watched the episode cause of that, and I've been hooked ever since.
