Hello! Doctor Who: Waters Of Mars is on Sunday the 15th of November 2009!
I think Doctor Who is amazing and it is my favourite show!

We are drawing nearer to the tenth doctor's (David Tennant) time. :sad1:

I want to know what you think about the programme :happytv:

Can't wait for it tomorrow! So much better then X Factor...

Watched the recent Sarah Jane Adventures today. Supposed to be the last episode next week. Of course the Slytheen are back. They're like the Daleks of the show!

Waters of Mars is supposed to be very scary. Think i've read it's scarier then Blink O_o

Oh, I found it very scary! Especially what the ending leads you to believe...

On the Graham Norton show, he said he doesn't want to leave, and would play the Doctor until he dies, but he's leaving because he doesn't want to come to a point where he's not having fun anymore, and it's more like work.

YES!! I've been waiting for a board like this! Noticed my siggy? :goodvibes

I've actually just started getting into Doctor Who about a month ago and it's like my current favorite show now! I'm actually slightly depressed that David Tennant is leaving because he's absolutely fantastic as the Doctor; but I can understand his reasons.

I'm actually in the process of writing a Doctor Who fanfic that if I can get it good enough, I have half a mind to send it to the BBC and see what happens... *crosses fingers*

We used to have a thread, but it always gets buried.

I'm excited for the Waters of Mars. I feel jipped on this past season. I didn't watch the series until early last summer. So I never got to watch the seasons as they came out. And now David Tennant's leaving.. but I'm still excited. It's my guilty pleasure show.

Who saw the Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith? A certain time lord makes a guest appearance in it :teeth:

I saw it! :D

Water on Mars doesn't come on in the US until December right?
That's what I have it marked down for. I'm excited!
And did the new season (five episodes?) already air?
Or is the new season the one with the new doctor?

AAAHHHHH I haven't!!!!!!! Gotta find it now

And again I will have my usual rant of how much it sucks to be a American doctor who fan. I want Water on Mars to be on my TV not my computer!!!!!!!

And referring to David's leaving the show I will probably be crying, maybe sobbing when he regenerates. It is because of him that I even got into the show. He is my doctor and always will be, and seeing anyone else playing the role will be beyond weird!

Just finished watching it. It was amazing. Not as scary as Blink though... Think the scariest part happened near the beginning where they reveal what happened to the guy, and that barely made me jump. I guess it's more like Midnight really? More psychologically scary then visual scary.

I read something on a website where they guessed how the Doctor might die. I had that in mind throughout the episode mainly because of these news websites they showed throughout and what I thought would happen did happen (except for a twist near the end) so yeah... I have a thought on how he's gonna die now D-: I guess the best way of saying it without spoilers is that it could be similar to the second Doctor's death. Look it up if you so wish, and if you want to spoil it for yourself (this episode does seem to point to something like it happening IMO)

Yes. In season one, when Christopher was the ninth doctor, he was my doctor then. But, since David had been playing the tenth regenaration, David Tennant is deffently my childhood doctor. I don't want him to leave because I know that this really mean but I don't like what the eleventh doctor will wear and there was a competion in the UK and the TARDIS is getting changed and the logo is. (Ooh! I hope I didn't ruin anything for you guys... sorry if I have)

David and Tom Baker are the only two people I've ever been able to stand as the doctor...I grew up with Tom (Doctor Who re-runs as a child ) and was really annoyed when it returned...and it wasn't until David took over as the doctor that I actually enjoyed it since those days as a child seeing Tom Baker as the doctor...its weird but everywhere I've seen doctor who topics, the departure of David is like the death of Doctor Who and thats it no more...I also know quite a few people who will most likely not watch the new series with the new doctor.

I saw the new logo, it was uploaded on the BBC website...really not liking it (unless they decide to change it again...I hope so!)....and I've only just gotten used to the tardis look!!! haha.

Not really feelin' the new logo... :sad2:

As for Matt, true he won't be David Tennant, (He'll always be my Doctor :lovestruc) but, I'm looking forward to see where he takes the character. Besides, previous Doctors have come back in specials, maybe David will be back for one!

After all, the Tenth Doctor's clone is still in the parallel world with Rose... :scratchin

I actually like the new logo, very modern. I think Matt Smith will be a good doctor, but I didn't start watching until David Tennant too, so I'm very sad he is leaving. I can't imagine anyone being as great as he was.

Me and my best friend are obsessed with Doctor Who (we became friends because of it :goodvibes ) and we don't like the new TARDIS or logo.
Here is a sneak preview of the christmas special from Children In Need, last friday.
Sadly (but sort of happily) I won't be able to watch it because I will be in WDW :goodvibes
