Anyone who has been to EPCOT lately....do they sell any Doctor Who merchandise in England? especially David Tennant or Matt Smith?

Thanks for any replies :)

I don't know about that, although it would be interesting to know if they do (DT and PD fan here). But you can find Doctor Who merchandise from www.bbcamericashop.com and Think Geek's web sites.

Thanks for answering :-) I've ordered from BBC America's shop before (and I'm still waiting for one of my items). My mom swears that she saw some last year in England but I don't remember it at all. If no one has any idea, I'll definately keep a look out for some. They really should sell it, I think, because Doctor Who is very popular over there and pretty popular here in the US.

I think I'd be one of the happiest girls in the universe if they sold Doctor Who stuff!

Not that I've seen. Mostly tea, football, winnie the pooh and food items. Probably wouldn't sell Doctor Who because it isn't a Disney franchise (at least I don't think it is).... that'd be fantastic though.

I haven't seen a single Doctor Who item, and I just walked through most of the shops in WC England two days ago. I'm a big DW fan and I would have to have been pretty spaced out to not notice DW merchandise.

That being said, maybe I was spaced out and someone will prove me wrong. I really didn't see any, though. Sorry. :(

I'm SO glad to see fellow Whoivians who love Disney on here!!! We rock :cool1:

by the way - cybrkitn LOVE the quote in your signature!!!

So would I, softball chick (seriously, love your Mr. Pricklepants avatar and the theater stuff in your signature (I do theater too)...how did you get the TARDIS in your personal title thing. I want one too  XD haha and you're flying through time and space with the Doctor and I'm the Girl Who Waited (and I was mistaken a lot for Karen Gillan when I lived in NYC XD).

roxysmum123, I'm 95% sure it's BBC owned...I just checked under my TARDIS mug I keep tea in but it's very small under there and it looked like a BBC but I didn't have my glasses on (I'm nearsighted with an astigmatism XD). But I agree :-)

kathyell - My mom swears she saw some last year but I was busy talking to a nice CM about who's a better Doctor, Tennant or Smith (I hadn't seen any Tennant at the time so I was completely on the Smith side...now I'm torn...thanks to Netflix xD).

I go in 30 days and I will thoroughly look through the England shops (and hopefully have discussions about Doctor Who with cast members since I'll hopefully have a shirt with the TARDIS on it, which I'll DEFINATELY wear to EPCOT.

They do NOT :sad2:. Our last trip we had heard they were and my DS was SO excited, but whoever does the merch. for their shops doesn't have the rights to sell it or some such, at least according to the CM, and we all know hoe reliable that info is! :rotfl2:

I SO wish they did, though. Dr.Who!

You could be my Katie!!! Too funny. She prefers Smith, I prefer Tennant. Go figure. If there were anyplace in WDW to find anything Who-related, believe me, my Kate would have found it!!
We can only hope.

You should check out the Community Board forum when DW starts up again on the 27th. We usually have a thread going for DW. You can also use the Search feature on the Com. Board to find the older threads for our discussions.

aww, that stinks. I'm bummed now. They should get the okay to sell DW stuff. I mean it's part of England just like tea, fish and chips and soccer (football). :lmao:

haha, really? Tell your Katie from another Katie who's a Doctor Who fan! And yes, we can hope.

Thanks!

I definitely will :-) It'll be nice to discuss Doctor Who with other fans (and not just my mom who started watching this series  :rolleyes1 )

I have not seen any BBC merchandise at Epcot. Definitely no Dr. Who merchandise.

Yay David Tennant lovers! He will forever be my Doctor! :lovestruc

That's awesome they have one their too! I'm usually a part of the one on the Teen Boards but I totally will have to check out the CB one too! :goodvibes

I always felt England in Epcot could use an old fashioned blue police box somewhere in it. They have the old style phone booths... It wouldn't have to be "officially" a Doctor Who prop (but all us Whovians would know it's the TARDIS). :)

Thanks for the link! I'm going to order the disappearing tardis mug and the talking pen for my husband for Christmas! :goodvibes

My DS has the mug - its really neat.

We are always wishing they would carry Dr. Who merchandise - I can't believe they don't. Maybe we all need to start asking for it :goodvibes.

I like Tennant and Smith. My first Doctor was Smith though so I'm a bit parcial to him but I like both (My fav companions are Amy and Sarah Jane (I'm watching her adventures XD))

I agree 100% with this. They definitely need one there

That mug is cool. I have the TARDIS mug that I keep my tea bags in. I'm going to ask for the disappearing one for Christmas XD

Disney and BBC need a partnership happening so the merchandise can be available :goodvibes

Hiya Whovians... This is a shot of my Who's Who T-shirt -- all eleven Doctors exiting the TARDIS in clown-car style -- that I got tons of compliments on while last at Epcot -- although Mulan seemed sort of oblivious to the whole thing.

Very cool shirt. Well, Mulan wouldn't really know what it is. I don't think she's encountered the doctor yet ;)

Watch the Ript Apparel site from day to day - the daily t-shirt has occasionally been Dr. Who themed...but they usually have some very, very cool pop culture sci-fi tees for $10 each day.

I'm sure your Katie is delightful, but in this case she is absolutely wrong. David Tennant is always the correct answer. :)
