Okay....this just makes my insides feel alll fuzzy!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/...ins-other-10-Time-Lords-for-one-off-show.html

Dr Who's David Tennant will be joined by all the 10 other incarnations of the Time Lord for a special one-off edition of the BBC One programme.
The cameo appearances will come during the first episode featuring the 11th doctor, Matt Smith, 26. He will be joined by Tennant, Christopher Eccleston and old favourites including Tom Baker, Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy.

The 15 minute programme will be shown in November as part of the BBC's Children In Need charity appeal and all the actors have waived their fees.

It is the third time the doctors have been reunited for charity: in 1983, the five doctors were brought together for Children in Need and in 1993, the same charitable cause saw doctors three to seven brought together for the Dimensions in Time show.

Tennant will get a helping hand from his predecessors to carry out a mission. William Hartnell, Jon Pertwee and Patrick Troughton, Time Lords whose rein extended between 1966 to 1974 but have since passed away, will be included by use of images from their previous shows.

A source told the Daily Mirror that the show would make programming history.

“This is a momentous episode for all Doctor Who fans. Never before have all the Doctors been in the same room, let alone in the same show," the source said.

“It’s been a logistical nightmare getting all the actors together and available for shooting on the same days. But the script has already been started and it’s classic Doctor Who – really witty and very sharp.

“Viewers will see the Time Lords regenerating and emerging one by one from the Tardies, each with their own quirky opening line.

“David Tennant is the central character in the episode. He’s trying to hunt down some special time travel apparatus. What he’s actually lost has not yet been decided, but the idea is for all the other Doctors to club together to help David find it.

“The actors who are no longer with us, William, Jon and Patrick, will make special cameo appearances, with footage from original shows being flashed up on screen. It’s a really exciting project – and all for a good cause.”

A BBC spokesman told the Mirror: “Nothing has been finalised yet, although there is discussion of a Children in Need Doctor Who special. It is too early to say what.”

The person who said they were never in the same room has never watched "The Five Doctors" but...

YES!

Still patiently waiting for Courtesan Satine and Narnian Princess to show up in this thread.

Woot! This is awesome! I can't wait to see it!

Just finished Season 4 last night. Someone please tell me how to get more Dr Who. :guilty:

Short of moving to the U.K. or youtube, I'm at a loss myself. :( I'm still just sick over David Tennant leaving.

You're in America? Wait....or steal it off the web if/when it becomes available. However, feel free to search YouTube for previous Christmas specials if you haven't already seen them. They're a hoot. Alternatively, there's a whole bunch of pre-modern-first-season Dr. Who to satisfy you available for purchase on Amazon. Enjoy the tales of Doctors 1-8 before seeing them in the upcoming short!

There's also the comics too!

Well, they are kind of right. Tom Baker didn't cooperate with "The Five Doctors." They used footage from that episode (the name of which I can't remember) that filiming got interupted by some sort of strike and was never finished. I did love "The Five Doctors." I thought Tom Baker would never cooperate with this sort of thing, but I guess he has finally come to accept the will forever be The Doctor.

I will miss David Tennant. But as I have liked/loved all of the Doctors, I will keep an open mind for the next one.

I am sick as well. He is so good.

I told DH last night - "you know if the Tardis appears on the front lawn I will be leaving..."

Yes, its out there as well as the one that aired at Easter although I can't recall the name of that one.

Yea, you know what they say, if the Tardis is a rockin; don't come a knockin' hehe :3dglasses:love:

Time Crash was great!!!!

The recent comics (with Martha) were pretty good. They had flashes with all the old doctors as well with David being in some sort of time warp and having to go back and use things and ideas from the old series. It was really interesting!

The Christmas special from 2008 "the next Doctor" will be on BBC america on Saturday night at 9pm.
Then in July they will air "planet of the dead" (I think on the 26th) and we will be caught up for now.

:woohoo:
(I have had the date on my outlook calendar since I found out a month ago... We are addicted!)

I just caught the commercial for that today and was very pleasantly surprised since I thought we still had a long wait for anything new.
