Docs for Room Only

Should I be receiving any docs for room only reservations.

I received my ME docs a couple of weeks ago. The only paperwork I have showing that I have paid for the room is what I printed off the website.

Last May, when we were staying at POP for one night before switching over to SSR, we had a room only reservation & the paperwork didn't arrive at our house until 2 or 3 days before our trip.

For Room Only ressies I've never gotten anything other than my email registration confirmation.

When I made our Sept. ressie a couple of days ago, I was given the option of e-mail confirmation only or a hard copy also. I chose the e-mail only.

I never seem to get the email confirmation, so I just go to the website and print off the information. I've never had a problem and have never really had to show the paperwork at check-in. Just handing them my Driver's License has been enough for them to find the reservation.

Did room only last year, didn't get anything until I checked out from the room and paid.

For my families room only reservation this August at the Contemporary it took WDW about a half hour to add it on their website since we switched from the Grand Floridian and that was about the same time it took for us to get our new confirmation e-mailed to us.

I usually get a confirmation for room only. But I haven't yet for my May trip. I booked it and paid it in full on 12/05. I realized the other day that I had yet to receive a confirmation and had a mini panic attack . Checked my confirmation number on the web site and I see my reservations. I'll print that. But I probably will call and ask for a copy to be sent to me.

I either print out the email confirmation or print the confirmation from the website. I bring a copy to confirm what I had reserved (in case of a discrepancy). Never had any problems with these print outs.
