I can't seem to find this anywhere. At which stops do the ships actually dock and at which do they anchor and tender the passengers ashore?
Is it difficult to get on and off the tender? My Mom will be coming with us and probably using a scooter (ECV).

Hi NancyDVC.

At which stops do the ships actually dock and at which do they anchor and tender the passengers ashore?

On the western cruise, the only port where we tendered was Grand Cayman.

Is it difficult to get on and off the tender?

Not at all. One might even say they tender tenderly.

My Mom will be coming with us and probably using a scooter (ECV).

She should be fine. The space is actually quite considerable onboard the tender although there won't be enough room if your mom likes to perform wheelies...

 Thanks Buckaroos Dad.
I don't think that wheelies will be a problem. She needs to stick with the basics like forward and maybe even reverse!

The Magic does tender occasionally at St. Thomas on the Eastern. It is based on how many ships are in port (they roatate tendering duties at this point). More often than not they do dock, but there is always a chance. The Magic (as do all the other ships visiting) always tenders at Grand Cayman.

Your mom should be fine - they are used to dealing with just about anything and some of the tenders are very large multi-deck ones. You may have to wait a little while for the right one, but I'm sure they'll take care of you.
