My kiddos LOVE Doc Mcstuffins! I know that she will be at HWS Hollywood and Vine starting the end of Janaury. But does anyone know if she is available for a Meet and Greet anywhere yet? TIA!

Bummer. We will be about two weeks too early to see Doc and Sofia at H&V. Kids would have liked that.

Shoot we were a few weeks to early to see her. Guess I will have to plan another trip.

Doc debuts in H&V 1/26. My family is there until 1/22. Any ideas if there would be a chance we could see her "pop" up as a practice run at all in advance of her actual debut?

Possibly, but training appearances are hard to predict when and where.

Considering her popularity (did anyone else try to find Doc McStuffins toys at Christmas?), I'm surprised Disney doesn't have her out and about more.

Doc made her WDW dining debut yesterday (1/25) as a soft opening at H&V. We visited today and had a great visit. Overall the meal was updated with new songs and signage featuring Sofia and Doc.

My daughter is going to be so excited to see Doc and Sofia! We saw Jake in May, but she will LOVE seeing Doc and Sofia. I'm so glad Disney finally updated that breakfast, those characters have been there for a LONG time.

Anyone's kids have any trouble with the size of the characters? My DD absolutely loves Sofia and Doc but I do wonder about their size. I mean they are supposed to be kids and they are the size of adults. I know logistically it has to be this way, I'm just wondering if it is a problem for the kids.

Show your DD YouTube videos of people meeting the characters so you can drill it into her head that they are big like you .

I think most kids realize animated characters are not real people. The long lines at Sofia and Jake's meet and greets confirm that kids want to meet them and talk to them.

Do you think she will be afraid of mice, ducks, and dogs that are as large or larger than most adults? Your daughter will be enveloped in the experience and won't be concerned about the logistics.

My DD is 2 so I'm not 100% sure she would realize at this age that they aren't real. But she might. I'm not sure when we will be going next so it might not even be an issue anyway.

Good point there. She has met my company's mascot (a large duck) and was a little leery at first but then warmed right up to him. I guess I was seeing the animated children a little differently, but DD probably won't.

My little one was almost 2 when we met Sofia. She was sooo excited to meet her, and ran up to give her a hug. Then she looked up into that plastic face and a look of terror crossed her face. She took off running and wouldn't go near her after that. It was actually pretty funny. My 5-year-old seems to have no problem suspending her disbelief around the characters, though.

My family enjoyed the experience. I blogged about it yesterday and Doc specially requested a photo with just her and me. How cool is that?
