Do your pet cats like water?

I'm beginning to think my cats are crazy. They're only 9 months old (2 boys, littermates with the same father) but they love water. Many times they've busted the bathroom door down and jumped in the shower while someone's in there.

I just caught one of them dipping their paws in the water and then they ate. Almost like he was "proper", yanno? The cat I had before these guys hated water - if you even went near him with a water bottle he would run.

Do I have mental cats or do yours like water too?

All 3 of my cats hate water. But my friend's cat loves water. She told me that he always drinks out of the sink. xD

I have 1 cat. He hates water. The one cat my mom had loved water. I guess every cat is different.

my cats love water.
our drain in our shower takes a wile to work, and when you leave after you shower they jump in and splash around.
also, you cant leave the toilet lid open, unless you want them to jump in xD

One of my cats will actually drink toilet water. It's weird.

also, if you turn the sink on the jump up and lay in the sink and get all wet

My cat like to drink water and stick her paw in the water too! But I really doubt she would like to take a full bath or anything. She also doesn't like being sprayed with water.

My friend has 2 cats and if they are misbehaving or something, she sprays them with a mini squirt gun thing and they HATE it! So i think its safe to say, the majority of cats don't like water.

Yes!
Well, they dont like being drenched or whatever in it.
But they love to drink it, both from their cat bowls and the toilets and the sink.

My cat's weird. :[ We let him outside in our screen inclosed pool area and he'll walk dangerously close to the edge. He's fallen in a few times but I guess he just loves walking at the edge. He knows we have water in the house, but he likes to drink from the pool. He'll dip both his paws in to brace himself and sometimes he'll even paw the water closer to him. I don't get why he likes the pool water so much. xD But I guess we've got bragging rights that he's got one of the biggest 'water bowls'. He's pretty normal other than that. Just find it weird that he likes pool water so much.
