"I" have always wanted to eat at this restaurant mainly because I think the theming is so cool, the food likes fine I just think it would be fun. I looked over the menu and we would go for lunch. Is it worth it? I saw Mac and cheese any other kid friendly stuff? My kids are 13,11, 7 and 5 some picky some not. Opinions?

The food is ok. The atmosphere is great and the band awesome and they invite the kids down to dance

I have a really picky little girl (OK, fine, the last time she went she was 18. She's still just as picky as a little kid!) and Biergarten was one of the definite successes of the trip, meal-wise. Basic kid foods, plus she was willing to try some sausages. And there's always pretzel bread. She loves pasta that doesn't have tomato sauce on it (eats mac-n-cheese or plain buttered noodles) and was happy with the spaetzle, too.

DS4 and 5 loved Biergarten. The music is great and in addition to German dancing, they invite the children down to the dance floor for one part. I like the food too. Delicious meats, pretzel bread, and other goodies. For kids, there's really not a kids menu selection... but... plenty of stuff that could qualify... sausages that are pretty much a hot dog. At least that's what we told our picky DS. The best part for me was getting a real beer (not domestic) in a gigantic frosty glass mug! Very fun, especially in December around Christmas time. Outside the restaurant, get some caramel treats and freshly made caramel popcorn! The caramel and candy apples are a little expensive but incredibly delicious!

Thanks everyone, I think my kids will love it, noodles, pretzel bread and sausages will all work:thumbsup2. Plus I am sure they will like dessert. The dancing will be good too:) DH isn't joining us until the last 3 days of our trip and as much as that stinks I am really enjoying picking some places that he isn't interested in trying :rolleyes1
