you and your spouse/SO dance? :p :p Our oldest child (11 y.o.) gets really embarrassed and asks us to "stop doing that".:p :p :p Naturally, we ignore him...;) ;) I guess we are only supposed to be "parents".;) :p

In January, DH and I went to a formal party (work related) and we got all dressed up. You guys should have seen older DS before we left the house, he was so embarrassed!!! DS told DH that he looked like a "Disco Dude"!!!:p :p :p :p We were ROTFL over that one! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Now that I think about it, I remember going to parties with my parents when I was DS's age and being embarrassed when my parents danced. I guess what comes around goes around!;) ;) :p DS's turn will come one day!;) :p

Anyone else?

They get to a certain age and parents are an embarrassment to most every kid....My DD and DS were very embarrassed by us at times.

The time we really embarrassed both of them was when we renewed our wedding vows at Church..I think we had been married 18 years. Several couples participated and families were invited, well...when it was over and we actually kissed each other in front of everyone (in their opinion) it was very embarrassing, I mean you would actually think we like each other....hehehe....Though they did not say anything I could see it in their faces when I turned around and in their demeanor afterwards....their theory at that age is PARENTS YOU CANNOT TAKE THEM ANYWHERE..:D :D :D

LOL Rita and Blueberry!

DH and I are very affectionate with one another, always have been, and the boys never seemed to mind until this year. I notice my oldest just cringing when Mommy and Daddy kiss. I don't recall feeling that way about my parents affection toward one another, I think maybe this is something more that boys have problems with?

In any case, we try and kiss as much as possible now just to tease him. :teeth:

ROFL!!!!
Today we took the train into Boston to go to the Bruins game. While on the train we passed our hold hangout, the bar where I met DH. We were pointing out things as we rode along and then I told Cameron, "thats where Mommy & Daddy met". His face just dropped, he wouldnt look at us, and he looked so embarrassed. Like he was horrified that we havent known each other forever. It was so funny.
