Do you watch any American tv programs?

wow! I didn't realize how many current programming you got. I wasn't expecting Lost or Desperate Housewives (2 of my favorites). are the episodes as current as they are here, or are they behind at all?

For Desperate Housewives we are on about episode 7 I think of Series 1 - where are you guys up to?

(I could describe what happened in the last episode but don't want to give away any secrets to people that haven't watched it yet ;) )

Nearly all TV watched in our house is from the US. I love 24, Cold Case, CSI, ER, West Wing, Rescue Me and Law & Order, especially the SVU one. Sitcoms I love Friends, Frazier and Will & Grace, etc. My girls watch so many US programs such as So Raven and 8 Simple Rules to name just a few that they practically sound American ;)

If you mean about the programs I watch then sorry but I generally only watch one hour of tv a night usually 9:00 till 10:00 and these are generally the only decent things on at that time of night unless you like a lot of 'reality' tv which I absolutely loath but always seems to fill that 9 to 10 slot!

Or If you mean my very tongue in cheek remark about the girls TV it was a joke hence the ;) although my young one is a such a good mimic she does a mean impersonation of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and she's not even a teenager yet :rolleyes1

Well, Karen (Miffy), you didn't ask me what my favorite tv shows from the UK were, but that won't stop me from chiming in--Kumars at #42, Bargain Hunt, Cash in the Attic, My Family and the old, but romantic(I think) As Time Goes By.

My DS (2) loves Little Bill, Dora the Explorer on Nick Jr.

Brit programmes that I would love to cross the pond are Shameless, Phoenix Nights, Max and Paddy's Road Trip and Little Britain!

Mtemm,

You MUST watch Little Britain. Next you'll be in WalMart looking at DVD's and saying, "I want that one!".

But, Karen, I do like Bargain Hunt. Already said so in the body of my first posting. Can't help it. Those shows are about antiques and I am one!

BTW, I agree with Blondie, Carnivale, an HBO show, is terrific. A little spooky but a feast for the eyes. If you get a chance to see it, do, but catch it from the beginning.
