Welcome to my very first (well, second attempt) at a PTR/TR!! This parody of "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" was used to invite our friend, aka "Squishy", to come along with us June 20th-23rd on a free plane ticket. I'll be using the less-than-two-weeks we have left to get a jump start on a hopefully fun-filled, short-but-sweet Trip Report with our plans and dreams for a nice birthday weekend. Stay tuned and look back soon for posts on just who we are and maybe some anecdotes about past trips with my DSis and our family.

Cast of Characters​

Welcome to the introductions! This little pre-trip post will give a summary of just who is coming along on this weekend excursion. Let's begin....

Dreamport (aka 'Ange')​

That's me, in my costume for last year's MNSSHP. I'm a female Dreamfinder. We went on an adventure to rescue a Figment plushie from the Imagination Institute and... Well, that's a story for another time. It's not the best picture but I'm pretty camera shy. This trip, however, my companions are instructed to take as many pictures as they'd like for this TR (and, of course, our memories).

About Me: turning 29 on Saturday, small town gal, retail associate and recently Godmother to an adorable little guy nicknamed Pan the Man; his mom is my DisneyBFF. Disney is my first-and-forever fandom along with Harry Potter, fantasy books and video games with good stories.
My first Disney memory was back in 1988 when everyone was celebrating Mickey's birthday at the former Duckburg/now Storybook Circus. He knelt down, signed "I <3 you" and I went running forward to hug him. He's been my favorite character ever since.

About DSis: 10yr-old Anime geek stuck in a 23yr-old's frame, third shift aid at a local home, can be a bit annoying but what can one expect from the Anna to my Elsa? Don't mention Kingdom Hearts or you'll never get her to talk about anything else.
Her first Disney memory is walking up Main Street USA with Cinderella's Castle all decked out like a giant pink birthday cake.

So, obviously this is not what our friend looks like, but I've just realized she avoids cameras as much as I do. This may as well be her anyway considering how often she walks up right behind me and makes me jump. It's how she got her nickname for this TR.

About Squishy: newly 21, one of DSis' closest friends, a bit on the serious side but also fun. Fellow Anime and video game fan.
Her first Disney memory will be made on this trip!

Now that you know a bit about us we'll be ready to show off our memories when we get back from the World! It may only be 3 days but with faith, trust and a handful of pixie dust it'll be a wonderful weekend! Pop Century, here we come!

I was just rummaging thru my own closet to begin constructing my own version of a lady dream finder to go with my childhood figment plushie

*peeks out from behind the Dean Finder door at the Imagination ride* Well, it looks like I'm just as good as I ever was about keeping up with a story. Dad just booked us another trip for this upcoming February and I haven't even said a word about this trip from June! Is it possible to just keep a never-ending thread going? Or perhaps this shall be treated as a PTR for the upcoming one while I also finally divulge what happened over the summer.

Time will tell. Fingers crossed! Making a mental note to come back! Once the new desktop is all set up with picture files that is. (RIP old desktop)
