Okay this is a wierd question, but i'm curious if we are the only wierd-os that BUY shampoo to take on vacation to WDW just to KEEP the free shampoo??

:confused3 does this not make any sense to anyone?!! hahaha :rotfl:

i just was cleaning out my linen closet and found LOADS of mickey shampoo!! So i figured i would ask away!

I do that too!

I know alot of people don't like the soap/shampoo at Disney Resort's but I like how they smell!

I just opened a mickey hand soap the other day because I was feeling withdrawls.

I use the shampoo at WDW only while I'm at. I hate packing shampoo in my suitcase because I have bad luck with shampoo breaking.

my hair is so dang picky, that I typically can't use resort shampoos so I have to bring my own.

I will often use resort shampoo to handwash anything that might need it while I'm at the resort.

For the cost of some of their hotels, you'd think the quality would be just a big higher in the whole 'poo department.

I usually use it as a shower gel.

Neither... don't use it, don't keep it :teeth:
Same here... though my DH does use it sometimes.

But when alone traveling, I don't use it or keep it.

I did keep the oatmeal soap from the Swan though. Love that stuff and I do use it at home ;)

There wasn't a dial for Nope: I bring my own

I am not a fan of WDW shampoo/conditioners and soap. We bring our own - Trader Joe's Botanicals with no Laureyl Sodium Phanethol.

I never ever use the soaps/ shampoos at resorts because usually, I'm allergic to them + they don't do much good for my sheep-hair.

But I always take the Mickey ones back home, because they look so cute!

I don't use the shampoo at the resorts, because I have so much hair that 1 bottle just isn't enough for even 1 washing lol. I don't usually keep them though.

I forgot the NEITHER option!

we don't use it at home either it just kinda sits there, until my grandmother comes in town from Mexico.

She teaches in town and the kids LOVE to get the soap and shampoo as presents. She says their faces light up when she tells them it comes from Disney World. So many of these children will never ever get to the WORLD and this is my little way of helping them out :) it's too cool to know what a little bar of soap or a shampoo can do for a kid!

isn't it amazing what will thrill someone from another country? i usually send post cards for her to give out too, those go over great too :)

no, I take my own shampoo and conditioner everywhere I go. I've used professional products since I was 16 and in school for cosmetology. I only worked in a salon for a year, but I still have to have the good products!! The Disney ones are cute, but I don't even take them home.

My hair goes nuts in FL even when I use my own extra-moisturizing shampoo, so I'd probably look like Bride of Frankenstein if I tried using the resort stuff. I usually take the Mickey bottles home with me, though, for use in case of emergency. :sunny:

We always take ours home. A few go to people we know who have never been to WDW. The rest (most) we give to our local battered women's shelter. They have so nothing when they arrive and deserve a little smile from Mickey.

Don't use it - but it's not because I want to save it (the shampoo). It's TERRIBLE shampoo. It's very drying and does terrible things to my hair.

We do save the Mickey soaps though.
