do you use the Disney Mom's Panel?

When I first submitted a couple of questions it seemed like mine always got answered, but since then I haven't gotten one answered. Is there a limit?! I should just post everything on here instead because by the time I realize my question won't be answered I've already forgotten what it was!

Honestly, I think it's better to ask your questions here. You are more likely to get better answers than you would if you asked the Moms Panel.

And you have a better chance of the answers here being correct. If someone posts a wrong answer on the Dis, a lot of people catch it and correct it.

Exactly. I've seen a few incorrect answers given on the Mom's Panel and there's no way to point out that it's incorrect.

I'm Anna S from the Moms Panel, and I'm really sorry you haven't had any questions answered recently :-( The volume of questions we get can be staggering, so while there is no limit to the number you can ask, it may be that we just haven't been able to get to any particular question! There is also the added pressure for us of trying to answer questions in a timely manner, so someone who has a trip coming up right this very minute now might take priority.

Please feel free to ask me questions directly, which you can do through the site. I try to never let a question that comes to me personally go unanswered!

Is there any reason to when there is the DIS?

Everyone shares their experiences and tips, it is so much better than just 1 perspective. You really get the benefit from experiences of over 100,000+ trips!!

I think the Mom's panel must have been inspired by this forum!!

There are several reasons I could see someone choosing to go to the Moms Panel. To begin with, many of the moms panelists have DISboard backgrounds - myself included. I am mostly a lurker, but there are at least five current panelists who came straight from here.

For a newbie - which a lot of our guests are - the DISboards can be a bit overwhelming. There is a ton of valuable information here, but if you have no idea where to begin or what you are looking for, it can be difficult to locate what you need. We also get a lot of very broad questions, and perhaps someone feels more comfortable coming there for answers to something as general as "What should we do?"

I would never discount the value in the DISboards, as there are many of my vacations planned using information gathered here. But we serve our purpose in the grand scheme of things as well.
