Do you use an electric blanket?

I am not afraid of them but I won't use one ever since they linked electric blankets to some forms of childhood cancer....my friend used one for years and while she was pregnant and her little baby had Leukemia before she was 1.... now I am sure plenty of people use them and their kids are fine but I didn't see any reason to take that chance...I just throw an extra blanket on when it is cold.

We have one. DW uses it all the time. I only turn myside on once in a while when it is really cold.

We didn't use it when DW was pregnant.

I even use mine in the summer.

I love a cold room and a warm bed.

I never used one until i went to college and had poorly insulated windows. my friend gave me his electric blanket, and i haven't stopped using one since.

No, not a blanket.....but we do have an electric mattress pad. We used to have a waterbed, and anyone who's ever had one of those knows how nice it is to get into when it's cold outside. Well, when we switched back to a conventional mattress, I couldn't bear the thought of getting into a cold bed at night, so, we went to a large, local dept. store and bought a heated mattress pad. I turn it on during the early evening hours and turn it off when I get in bed. It works wonderfully well.
