i'm considering purchasing something to go around my neck to hold my ticket and whatever fastpasses i collect... one for myself, my husband and my 12 yr old... i'm worried about putting things in/out of pockets where they can get lost...

do you do this? is this a good idea or a bad one? we're going in august (22-29) so i am a little worried about it being uncomfortable ....

thanks!

Yes, I wear something around my neck. The one I wear now I got at WOD in January for $8.00. It is a black, bi-fold wallet. On one side, it has a clear window pocket. The other side has a Mickey and "Where Magic Lives" logo. On the inside is a small zippered coin section and 2 slide-in pockets. I use this for my resort charge/ID, drivers' license (in case I get carded, I am a young-looking 40 year old  ), park hopper/AP, DV rewards card, credit card and a few Disney Dollars. I also keep my fast passes in it. It is very light weight and comfortable. It measures 4 1/2" x 3" when closed and 4 1/2" x 6" when opened. It is very convenient and really cuts down on the time I have to keep taking off my backpack to get mywallet out

This is what I am using and it even allows my camera to fit into it.

I got it at ebags for 11.99 with free shipping. It is only available in brick, but it is a really nice color. It has several places for money too.

I use a disney lanyard w/the clear plastic card holder. I put my PAP, id, KTTK card, and credit card in it and I am good to go.

Target has them in the travel/luggage section for around $10. DH and I share one with our passes/driver's licenses/credit cards etc...

I got one a tWal-Mart for $.97. It is not Disney decorated, but it is not unattractive. Sort of utilitarian. I Used it for the first time on our recent trip, and I LOVED it. There is a zipper section, where I would keep my room charge, and the AP's for the 4 members of my family. Then there is a seperate section that you just slip an item into. That is where I would keep the fast passes that we were holding. The holder is see-through, so I would put the fast-passes with the time facing outward, so I could see at a glance what time our fast passes were for. This also worked great for me because not all of my shorts/skorts have pockets. When I would leave the room to go get coffee in the morning, I would just slip my card-holder over my neck, and I would have my resort card with me.

Try boardingbuddy.com they have different types of neck pouches on their website.

I used a neck pouch on my first trip in January, and found that it really bugged me. If I wore it over my shirt it was bouncing around everywhere, and under my shirt was just plain uncomfortable. On our trip this May I took a small wallet with a keyring on it (Dockers brand, found it at Kohl's for about $7) and hooked it through my belt loop. I was able to get in and out of it without have to take it off at all, and wasn't worried about things slipping out.

anyone know of a good bag I can wear across my shoulder and have it rest near my waist. I purchased a super cute backpack but realized if I put my camera in there I will have to keep taking the back pack off and on and when we get on rides it will have to come back off again. I saw several on ebags but they seem either too small or too bulky. I want to put my small camera, cell phone, park passes sunglasses in there. Any one own one and love it?

Ok, I hope this works. I just bought a really nice Messenger bag at Old Navy yesterday. It was on sale for $12.50 :cheer2: Here is what it looks like: Messenger bag They also had an olive color in the store. It is lightweight and roomy. Lots of pockets. I can get everything that was in my backpack, into this. I can also push it around and wear it to the back to get it out of my way or move it to the front to get to it easily. Hope this helps! :wave2:
