Do you try and keep the road you live on tidy?

For example if you saw some litter on the path on your street would you pick it up?

yes. DH and I bring extra bags when walking our dogs to pick up any litter we may find on our walk.

I run through the neighborhood most days. On windy trash days I spent a good deal of time putting stuff that has blown out of recycle bins back in the bins.

we won't put anything into our garbage recepticle that is not inside a bag (with the exception of large pieces of cardboard). too many times we see stuff on the road right after garbage pickup-flutters or flies out of a can as the truck is lifting and dumping it. i have noticed a decrease in little thin bags fluttering around on the road since the stores charge for them and folks are using reusable totes and bags

Yes, I only toss my litter when I’m on other streets!

DH spot sprays all of the weeds in the cracks in the concrete roads of the subdivision. I'd never even notice them, but they drive him crazy. He also tames the subdivision entrance berms a few times a year, so he definitely does his part!
