Do you train to go to Disneyland?

Wear supportive shoes! Why cut caffiene?

I would guess so you don't get dehydrated. More of an issue in FL but for someone that drinks more affiliated beverages than non, it's a good idea to cut back when traveling anywhere hot or at least drink enough water to counter the caffine.

We used to train our kids before trips when they transitioned from strollers to walking the parks. We would go on walks and then gradually extend the walks so they got more used to being on their feet that much. It really helped them. We of course told them if they got tired they had to tell us and we would take a break. They were not the best at telling us when they got tired. Lol. So we would usually take a break every 2 hours or so.

There is zero training you can do for your feet. Once they go, you are done.

Unless you’re completely disabled, walking is good for you and going on short walks every day will accustom your body.

God bless my mom, she’s a wreck - double knee replacement, fall risk, limited mobility, etc. she literally refuses to walk and has developed a condition where her body retains water, causing her to take water pills all day and wrap her legs every night. Her docs say a good hour of walking would likely negate the need for the water pills and wraps and I’ve offered to get her a pass to DL… but no.
