do you TIP your disney wedding planner?

I had an intimate but here's who we tipped:

Wedding planner (they can not recive cash though, strictly gift cards, or gifts) We did a gift card but I've also heard of people giving gift baskets with local items from the couple's home town.
Limo Driver
Towncar Driver
Rev. Day
Waiter (obviously)
Manager of Resturant (he went well above and beyond for us to make sure our dinner was PERFECT)
Butler (at our welcome party a few nights before)
Lisa (hair and make-up)
Carolyn (dress steaming)

Some people also tip the violinist.
We didn't tip Randy as it's his company, had we had a Disney Photog though we would have.

I think that's our list, I may have missed someone though.

As for the bartenders you may wanna double check your BOQ I seem to remember hearing that that includes tax AND tip.

For the musicains and actors, I think I'd go with the idea of how they are and if you think they deserve a tip on top of the fee you paid for them. I know that doesn't really help but it's how I'd do it.

don't hate me for being nosey -- and feel free to decline to give this info -- but how much do you usually tip each one of these people?

i have NO CLUE!

is it 20% of their service?

thanks!

We tipped our EM, $80 and accepted it gladly, we didn't know we wasn't allowed to tip her cash, and she didn't decline it. Why are they not allowed to accept a cash tip?
We didn't tip the bartenders at the reception as we payed gratuity in the costs already.
We tipped the musician, magician & caricature artist, Rev Day, limo driver, $20
Lisa Pena (hair & makeup), I think I tipped $90 for 7 of us.

dress steaming $10

I heard you can't tip cash for the EM so I sent Ken Weaver a wine basket from a local LI, NY vineyard (where I was from) because he used to live on LI & is a wine drinker. I sent it right to his office.

Isn't there a 20% service charge included for just about everything Disney does for you that could be called a "service"? And wouldn't that be considered the tip?

We did not tip our EM. She was not at our vow renewal. When I talked with our EM the morning of the ceremony, she said there was another EM handling everything at the WP that day. I wasn't thrilled with the person at the WP so I didn't tip her at all. And, since I didn't even meet my EM personally, I didn't tip her either.

My brother-in-law paid Rev. Day and did not tip him. I'm going to send him a picture from the wedding (when we get them) with a thank you card and a small gift in it as well.

I don't think my DH tipped the limo driver, but we probably should have!

I did tip Lisa for doing my hair and make-up and my daughter's hair.

I don't think I tipped Carolyn when she delivered the tuxes and our dresses, but I probably should have!

I started out putting the prices in for what we tipped each but realized I had no idea on most of them. My mom handled it so I'm clueless. Hopefully though she'll pop onto the thread and give you the amounts.

We did not tip our EM, kinda thought it was her "job." I did send a thank-you note to her and Rosie after the fact.

I forgot Rev. Jack's card in my room the day of the wedding so I sent him the card, a picture of us with him, and $40 about a month later. He went above-and-beyond for our wedding, gave our toast, took extra pictures with us, and hung out for cake and sparkling cider and dispensed marriage advise. He was wonderful!

I think we tipped the limo driver $20 but really only because we had him running all over the place - resort to EPCOT, back to the resort because I forgot something, then to PI.

I tipped my hairdresser $40 for my hair, MOH's, and MIL's (only to find out MIL tipped her too!) but she was my personal hairdresser for a year and she came all the way out to Disney just for my wedding so she deserved any tips she got!

That's about it other than the usual waiters, bell hops, mouse keeping, etc.

As DD Melmel said, I handled the tips. Here's what I gave each person:
EM $50 Visa gift card
Rev Jack $20
Limo driver $10
Waiter at Yachtsman $30 over the service charge (he did an incredible job)
Yachtsman manager $30 (not usual to tip him, but he did so much to make the day perfect, we wanted him to know how much it was appreciated).
Dress steamer $10
Randy & Lisa (hair & make-up have their own businesses, so I didn't tip them.
