Do you tip the face painters?

I didn't last time but I wasn't sure if I was supposed to. I felt like I was paying for the face painting and didn't need to tip on top of it, but there was that awkward...ok.... Thanks.... At the end!

No one I've seen pay for it has tipped the face painter.

I thought about it. But then decided against it, because I remembered how angry and upset that cows become when people do cow tipping. So I figured the face painters would not appreciate it any more than the cows did! So a resounding NO!

They cannot accept tips. I tried several times, in different locations, and always got the same answer from them. So don't feel the least bit guilty!

Just want to echo PP and say that they will not accept tips. My daughter recently got a facepainting at the Pier in CA Adventure and I asked the CM if he could accept a tip and he told me he was not allowed to. I wish I could have given him something, my DD was thrilled with her butterfly.

I wonder why the face painters are not allowed to accept tips? I highly doubt their wages are in balance with today's economy.
