That under their big heads the characters are making faces when people take pictures with them? :confused3

I think I would... :rotfl2:

I am in a very silly mood today.

I am sure they are making some kind of gesture, some maybe good :) , others maybe not so good :( . Depending on the attitudes of the parents & children.

I used to wear a big furry bear mascot costume for one of my college jobs. And, yup, I smiled everytime somebody was taking "my" picture with their kids. Humans are creatures of habit afterall...point a camera, we smile.

I bet they do, they have to put up with so much. Obnoxious kids and their parents and the heat.

It is one of those jobs I admire along with day care providers and teachers! Way under paid and under appreciated IMHO

I have a friend who knew someone who 'performed' as the Pillsbury Doughboy at events, supermarkets, etc. He never said anything about making faces when pictures were taken, but he did say that, due to the difference in body shape between the Doughboy and the person inside it, whenever anyone poked the Doughboy in the belly, they were poking a bit lower on the person inside...
He said the worst thing was at supermarkets, when little kids would spot him, run up and PUNCH him in the 'belly'
He finally started wearing a cup. :teeth:

My Sister and BIL and Husband and I dressed up as the Looney Tunes gang one year for Halloween and when we were getting our picture taken I always smiled even though you couldn't see the face. I thought it was pretty ironic. It's a habit I guess. If it were a job day in and day out I may not be so smiley all the time.

I think it's probably best not to think too much about such things. Why ruin the illusion for yourself, even if you're a "big" kid. I'm 60 and as far as I'm concerned, that's really Mickey and all his pals.

WHOA! Hold the phone! What do you mean "under their big heads"? Those characters are real, I tell ya! Real! :faint:
