Or do you think you look younger? :teeth:

Or older??

I cannot decide if I look my age or not. I'm 34 and somedays I feel every bit of my 34 years and then some! Other days I feel like a kid.

But I don't know how I look. Not that it's so important to me. I wouldn't mind looking my age as long as I don't look older!! :rotfl2:

Nope. I'm going to be 36 this year... ACK! But people tell me I look like a teen. I was always short and slight as a kid, and never got tall or a big chest, and kept the long hair, and don't wear a lot of make up. When I was in my 20's I wanted to look older - or at least my age - but not enough to change my appearance for others. Now I'm starting to appreciate it, but I think I'm starting to look older. I can see how people think I'm younger, but not a teen!

Im 21, but people think i look younger than i do--it drives me crazy now, but everyone says ill appreciate it when i get older!

No-- everyone thinks I'm a lot younger. Which I guess is a good thing. :teeth:

I'll be 38 in a month but I don't look it. My DH and I look young. We were still getting carded when we were almost 30.

It's all in the genes. My mom is the same way.

I know I dont ....

I get jaw-drops when I say I have a 14 y/o :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

But Im afraid all these years of looking younger is going to suddenly catch up with me in an instant- and overnight, I will suddenly wake up and look 85!! :teeth:

Well, people usually think I'm younger and I have no lines really (I'm 37) and no gray hair which my stylist things is weird, lol. I ress "fashionably," but not like a 20 year old. I'm not wearing miniskirts with halter tops! I think having freckles gives one a youthful air also! :cool1:

I look younger which gets some weird comments because I have a 15 yo dd. I'm 42 and DH is 53 (and has had white hair since he was in his 20's) so he loves when people ask if I'm his daughter! :rotfl2: Then just the other day, while talking with a coworker who works in another department, I said something about dd driving and she asked how old she was. I told her 15 and she asked if I was 15 when I had her. :lmao: Ummm...nope but thanks a lot!!

I take after my grandmother--who looked younger than my dad until she had a stroke in her late 80's.

Im about to celebrate my 39th birthday next month...the pic in my siggie is 2 yrs old

I am 42 and most days I don't think I look 42. However, when someone finds out I'm 42, I don't think they are shocked. Basically I look anywhere from 35-40, I think. Most of it has to do with how I am dressed. When I go to work, I look older because I dress very conservatively (business suit, "professional" hair style). On the weekends, when I wear my low-rise jeans and "freak" my hair out a bit more, I lean toward looking mid-30s.

I always think these type of threads are a riot. So many people will say how much younger they look, but, in real life the "real" people I know most often look their age or very close to it. It's funny that in my "internet life" so many people are so young looking! :teeth:

I definitely look younger. I'll be 31 next month, and people think I'm either in my teens or young twenties all the time. I'm short and petite, and I don't wear makeup on a regular basis. I even got stopped in the mall while doing my Christmas shopping last year because the security officer thought I might be ditching school! When I dress down - no makeup, pony tail - I can see how I might look younger, but with makeup and the right clothes, I look a bit older. I used to hate it, but now that I'm in my thirties I won't complain!

Funny you should post this.....when I was in my teens I was ALWAYS taken for older...(never had trouble gettign carded ;) ) then in my 30's always mistaken for younger...and in the last year I have aged like, 20 years! I am 43 and while in the past I have always felt young no matter what my looks were, I am feling like I am 60, aches and pains...tired all the time, and when I saw a photo of me from DH's Bday last month I about passed out in horror! :scared: Photos do NOT lie! Matter of fact I am about to go and color my hair in a few!
So today, I look older than I am, but that picture was a serious wake up call. I am dropping the extra 20lbs, and I think applying a little make up before going out in public will be appreciated by all!

I am proud to say that I have been blessed and look ALOT younger than my 39 years. 2 years ago at my 20th high school reunion, I won the door prize for "most unchanged" and just the other day I tried to purchase an instant scratch off lottery ticket and the store owner told me he would have to see ID. :rotfl: I think it's in the genes, my mother is 60 and looks 20 years younger.

I am 35 and I still get carded! Most people think I look a lot older than I am. I don't have any gray hair, either. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure my mom has any either. But I have gotten some wrinkles in my brow line, that I am not too happy about. Anyone have a cure for those, besides Botox?

The pic isn't that close but I'd say your skin looks lovely!

I'm 34 but most people seem to think I'm in my mid to late twenties. I haven't got a problem with that... :teeth: DH is well preserved too - defintiely looks younger than his 35 years. :thumbsup2 Someone commented the other day on his "amazing skin" lol!

Oh, and whenever we're away people always seem to ask us if we're on honeymoon!! :rotfl2:

I just turned 36 and I probably look it most of the time, but about 4 years ago I had a nice ego boosting experience. I went to a new hairdresser and while she was washing my hair she asked where I went to school. She thought I was in college! I told her THANK YOU, but I graduated a long time ago. :sunny:

Hmmm. What's interesting to me is that it seems like just about everyone thinks they look younger than they are (including me!). But it can't be true for all of us, can it? It's kind of like how just about everyone thinks they're a good driver!

My sister got carded for beer the other day and she's 53. Somehow I don't really think that clerk thought she was under 21. I think they just like to make us old ladies feel good now and then. :teeth:
