My DH has a convention to go to in Aneheim.( Lucky us..."free" hotel!!Yipee!!) We are planning to stay Monday-Friday (Feb) and we'll be going to the park during the day and then DH will join us in the evenings. We have a pre-schooler, so I'll have to do the parks rather slowly and take the afternoon break. We aren't staying on-site, we are staying at the Embassy Suites.
Do you think there is enough to do between the two parks to get a 5day pass? Do they even have 5day passes? Or do you think the 4day will be great?
I haven't been there since 2002, and that was pre-baby! So this experience will be different. I'm kind of a plan-a-holic and this trip is rather last minute so I am freaking out. :donald: :donald:

Well, since your dh will only have the evenings and since I assume those weekday evenings will have the parks closing fairly early, I would go with the five day. However, you can also just purchase a four day and upgrade it to a five day after you get there and see how the crowds are and how much you are getting done. Its also not that big of a price difference between the four and five day. I have stayed at DL for as long as 7 days and still not been ready to leave! But I am sort of a Disney addict who just can't get enough! But there is really quite a lot to do and most preschoolers love the art of repeating things they love, so I doubt your little one would get bored in five days even if day 5 is just doing the same things over again. And I think Disneyland is best enjoyed at a slow pace where you can just take it all in and not be rushed.

Thanks for the quick response!
I am so glad to hear that you could spend 7 days there! I think I'd be the same as you. You are absolutely right about how little ones would enjoy the same attractions again and again if it came to it. I didn't think of it that way!
I am getting a 5 day hopper. :yay:
Thanks!

We visit Disneyland at least 1-2 times per year. We have preschoolers and after several days in the parks, you will be more exhausted than you realize, especially if your DH is not helping you with the kids. We like to take at least one day to enjoy Downtown Disney, shop for souveniers, stay at the hotel and enjoy the pool, etc. Also, there is so much great shopping around Anaheim (that is if you have a car and don't mind driving), also Knotts Berry Farm is another great park closeby that you could do during the day for some different kiddie rides. Just depends on how much theme park you want to do. For us, 2 days at Disneyland and 1 day at California Adventure is enough for us, and we too are disney freaks! We just love Southern California so much, we like to go up and shop at The Grove in LA, Fashion Island, South Coast Plaza, and go to Newport beach or Huntington beach nearby as well!

You can't go wrong with the 5 day, and I thought it was only $10 more than the 4 day. If so, it would be silly not to, even if you only went that 5th day for a few hours, it would be worth $10.
