I have been looking for a new MPV for some time, this will be our first full size MPV, at the moment we have a Zafira, but when DH and eldest DS are both with me leg room is very tight to the point that I feel it is now dangerous for the passenger in back as they have they're knees practically under their chin cos we are all tall we feel that the only way to go is a full size MPV until DS goes off to college/university in 3+ yrs and we can downsize again, depending on how tall 2nd DS has grown, anyway I digress.... We went today to a main Kia deeler a couple of miles away, at the moment the Sedona is our car of preference justing pipping the Chrysler Grand Voyager to the post and we saw an automatic 55 plate sedona for £13,000 thats reasonable we thought, took a look inside and the mileage was only 5148! which we thought was incredibly low, it was all locked up so could not look into it completely, it did have a built in DVD player as well which the boys thought would be great as we do alot of miles with swimming gala's all over the country. DH and I are going back tomorrow for a second look, he is convinced that there is something dodgy about it, but I am not too sure it is a main dealer. Opinions would be welcomed as would any questions you think we should ask - I am going to ask to look at registration papers to see how many owners it has had.
Thanks

ive got a 55 plate zafira and that only got 7000 miles on the clock !! so the low mileage is probably just a bonus

have a look at the service history as they may have recorded the mileage each time :)

Thanks for that Natalie, I am making a note of questions to ask so will add that to the list, it is a nice looking car and I will be sorry to get rid of my Zafira (the 2nd one that I have owned) but we certainly need something bigger,

im ok because i use my back seats for babies......they are no good for grown ups tho

hi
the dvd is cool isnt it, dont buy the headphones sets from kia there £50 each argos do wireless ones that work with it for £20 ith docking port to recharge!
(the car only comes with 2 sets- or less if 2nd hand)

we have 2 cars and my milage is lower than that as we have 2 x 7 seaters so dont use mine that much!

good luck x
make sure it has new brake pads, they are very quick to go on the kias, had to get our first set after 10 months!:confused3

Have you driven a Sedona yet?
If not Drive one! and not just round the block!
There is a reason why they are so cheap. Comparing it to a Grand Voyager, the Grand Voyager is like a Rolls Royce, the Sedona a Trabant.
Car manufacturers put goddies in vehicles to hide the actual abilities of the van.
Remember you have to drive it day in day out.

Take one for a Long test drive, get them to loan you one for a couple of days. if you then like it, so be it, they buy one.
Do the same with a Voyager
