Do you think this Coach handbag is fake?

I bought this coach handbag on ebay now I am wondering if it's fake. I haven't yet paid for it. The seller had previous listed it saying it had glue spots on and it didn't sell however he failed to mention the glue spot on the relisting the 2nd go around and I didn't look at his completed auctions until this one had ended. Anyway here's the pictures. Also the seller said the creed # is B3K-7022. What do you think is it fake?

I checked my lining in my COACH and it looks the same as the posted picture. No way for me to say for sure, but it looks legit. Why do you think it may be a fake? How's his feedback? If he's sold other COACH's and has happy buyers, I'd think you're ok.
As far as the glue spots, if he didn't mention it in the listing and it's bad, I'd be really mad.

Pretty color :)

I'm one to always buy purses or other things that I like, not because of a name. I mean if you can't tell it's a fake then why pay out the wazoo for one....no one will be able to tell it's real either.

Just like when I see a woman with a HUGE diamond on her finger. Usually depending on what she's driving/wearing....etc I think "hmmm, diamonique?". If it's pretty and you like it, the brand name shouldn't matter. I know that of course for someone who carries purses about 1 season and then finds another one I'm probably not the best buyer of expensive leather purses, but just my opinion :)

And on another note, Marshalls has some GREAT purse prices and very nice brands for those avid purse shoppers.

I can't tell from the picture but an easy way to spot a fake is to make sure all the seams (the c's) line up on signiture and mini signature bags.

You could always try contacting Coach. I have fround their customer service to be most helpful in other matters.

He has sold a few other coach items recently but none of those buyers has left feedback yet. Also I asked about the glue spots and he hasn't responded to my email and then also today he makes his feedback private but I had already read the feedback comments yesterday, he has good feeback only 2 negative out of about 200.

NOT a big fan of Ebay..too many dealers and frauds. Not what it once was which was connecting people that wanted things with people that had them and no longer wanted them, willing to get something rather than throw it away...that being said

If you have doubts, forget about it and tell the seller that. I NEVER trust anyone at all that won't let their feedback be seen!

I'm torn. I've never seen that bag and I'm pretty well versed in Coach's offerings. It is possible that it is an outlet only bag. I haven't been to the outlet in about a month so I'm not up to date on the outlet only bags.

What I don't like about it is the stitching on the sides of the bottom and the piping.

Look at this shoulder tote http://www.coach.com/aspx/content/product.aspx?product_no=7189&category_id=68

see how there isn't piping down the sides and the base is one piece rather than several stitched together.

I've seen some really good Coach fakes. All have coach lining and interior numbered tags.

I'm leaning towards fake...unless someone has seen it as an outlet only peice.

I think it is a copy. The give away to me is the strange small coin purse like "thing" hanging off the strap. I have never seen any Coach bag with one of those before. I shop at both the retail stores and the outlets and I have never seen that "exact" bag. I also think it is weird the way the fabric seems to be wrinkled.

I think I did see similarly colored items in a Coach outlet in NC or Georgia. (Can't remember which state, we were on our way to WDW) They were definalty a purple color but I can't say for sure if it was the same shade. I definalty can't say there were any in the style because I don't remember any of those.

IA, there are some very good fakes out there and alot of them come with the interior imprint and Coach lining. I just assumed they w ere made from sold/stolen remnants.

It's hard to tell from a picture. My mom thought she bought me a real LV handbag for christmas off of ebay one year and I am pretty sure it's fake.

Is it just me, or does it look like the zipper is broken in the 2nd pic down from the top? It appears to be zipped on the left, open in the middle to the pull, then zipped on the right. I'd check that out as well...

I think you are right I hadn't noticed that. I am definately not going to pay this guy too many wierd things going on with the auction and no response to my emails and now today he makes his feedback private. I might get a negative feedback but I would rather have that then lose my money.

Also, in the original auction, he said the bag was brand new. In yours, he said it was gently used by a girlfriend for a month.

Don't pay, take the neg, write a rational follow-up (just the facts, no emotion or name calling), and you'll be fine.

As a COACH fanatic of both thecatalogue, COACH stores and COACH outlets, i have never seen this bag before, the dead giveaway is that coin purse attached to it, i have NEVER seen them sell a bag like this before. Not to mention the way it is attached by that leather piece is just tacky looking and i don't think COACH would do this. but of course this is just my OP. good luck :)

I thought the same thing, the zipper looks broken. The stiching around it has a few loose theads too. But maybe because you bought it used. As well the zipper looks silver, it should be gold to match the rest of the hardware. The linning looks pretty thin in the last picture, you shouldn't be able to see through it.

And I have to agree with AMcaptured - that little coin purse is odd.

I was looking throught the coach website and noticed that ALL the bags were double stiched. Your bag only had one all the way around.

I would go to the store and really compare you bag to other Coach bags to see if the quality is the same.

There are some incredible looking fakes out there. (I've been to Chinatown too many times.) But something is just completely off with this bad. The stitching is just horrible im some places. In the last picture, that cell phone pocket, the stitching is way off. The right corner is bunched up and looks as if it was re-sewn.

Tell him yoou've changed your mind because his girlfriend used the bag that didn't check out as genuine at Coach Inc. I don't think he'll risk another neg.

YES !! Absolutely !!!

the style is wrong, the little attached coin thing is wrong, the color is wrong, the zipper pulls are wrong, fake ! fake !
the interior lining may look like other Coach bags, but it is not the correct lining for the "mini CC" bags and the purple color is very off.

the little attached coin thing is a dead giveaway....this doesn't belong there.

I am a certified purse freak.....I would not buy it. but thats my opinion.

ps...I just realized you have already bought it, sorry.
