Standby.

Disney has been testing a program where they close the standby line when it reaches a 30 minute wait (so shortly after opening since they have only done this on the Anna/Elsa meet and greet and Soarin' so far). Instead they had out a card with a time to return and ride with a "moderate" wait.

Once those cards are gone, you are out of luck.

Word is they have been reopening the line late at night, but they don't actually tell guests it will reopen.

Hopefully, there will be no tests while we are there! It's been complicated enough already IMO just planning out our fps.

I understand, from a business stance, why they would want to do this. People in 2+ hour lines are people not in their stores or at their concessions. I even see a benefit for people who may have missed out on a FP+ and still want to ride and not wait the 2+ hours. However, I'm not thrilled with completely removing the option of waiting the 2+ hours. If I were on a once in a lifetime trip, I would want to be able to stand in line, regardless of the wait, for the key headliners.

IMHO they want to go to 100% reservation system. This would be a next step in that process.
