I still think $200 to $220 per point is not out of the range of possible 'Initial' sales prices for Rivera. I know that sounds like a lot, but if they can try to grab some of the 'magic' from the 'monorail resorts' (whereas Copper Creek is mostly just a 'bus resort') then they could make an argument for increased value. And keep in mind, the Gondolas will be going to TWO different parks, and get you there in 6 to 12 minutes, maximum. That is faster than the monorail.
Of course, this presumes that the system works, works well, and that they keep running it during rainstorms and 'lightning' (it will be well grounded from lightning). Gondolas have been used at Ski Resorts and some other places, for many years. It is not new technology. It is proven, carefully applied technology, AND the company they have chosen to provide the gondolas is one of the leaders in the industry.
