Do you think the refillable mugs are worth it

Last year we were on deluxe dining, so we got three mugs included, but in prior years, we'd only get two. I don't drink a lot of soda, so all I needed was my morning coffee. On the other hand....DH drinks soda like its a delicacy! After we got back to the room at the end of the day, we'd all trek to the AS Food Court for cocoa and soda. At DH's request, we would sit & hang out at a table with our drinks (sometimes he'd get a personal pizza to justify taking the table, lol), and finish the first round so we could refill. He prefers hanging in the food instead of the privacy of our room. Then again, he wouldn't mind eating all meals at the food court instead of the yummy TS and CS the parks/resorts have to offer :confused3 . Thank goodness for the DP!

If you are using DME and won't have a car, I think the mugs would be worth it. I normally rent a car and buy a couple of 12 packs at the store to have in the fridge.

We bought two cases of water from Costco and still got two refillable mugs (for five people). We would take a couple of waters with us. We would also hook the mugs on the stroller. Then we would fill those mugs on our way to the bus. We would sip them while waiting for the bus (shared amoung us with the toddler getting some juice or fruit punch in her sippy cup). Then we would clip them back on the stroller and sometimes fill them at the water fountains for the kids during the day. We would also refill them when we returned at the end of the day.

When we stay at a regular resort I usually get them for all of us, but on a DVC vacation I just buy them for the kids. They use them at the pool, if I drink by the pool they won't give me free refills on my drink of choice LOL!:lmao: It really does depend on what you drink and how much you can prepare on your own. If I stay POP I need to get coffee and dont' mind using the slushies etc. If I am at OKW way too much work to get the mug filled when I have a coffee pot in the room. Mugs are very subjective for us!

I would def say that the mugs are worth every penny, considering that when we went in Sept a bottle of pop (soda) was $2.75 out of the machine! That is crazy, we used our mugs on the way to the parks and when we got home in the afternoon and then again when we got home at night. Not to mention that I have used the mugs about 3x week since being home taking coffee in the mug to the arena or to work. We are returning in Sept as well, and plan to buy more mugs, I understand that if you purchase the Quick Service meal plan though that the mugs are included. :ccat:
