Do you think the nursery will be open by 2023?

We want to go on a cruise with our two year old in January-February 2023. Do you think this service will come back at some point? I know in the parks Disney has taken away perks that aren’t ever coming back. Do you think it’ll be this way with the nursery?

They are still advertising the nursery for the Wish. If they were doing away with it I doubt they’d be putting it on their new ship.

With kids under 2 unable to wear masks or be vaccinated, this will likely be the last thing to come back.

Oh that’s good to know. Hopefully by 2023, 6mo-4yo can get vaccinated. I guess we’ll book and just hope it’s open by then.

Yep, I’m sure they do want it to come back. Parents who can’t book nursery time can’t spend money on adult only restaurants and other upcharge activities. They just do not want a lawsuit if a baby gets sick.

Agree with others, I think it has to come back--Disney is a family cruiseline. Plus, I think the cruiseline business is not doing the same thing parks is doing. My experience on the ship led me to believe they are working to bring things back as soon as they can within the safety constraints they have.

I’m just guessing it all depends on when 6mo-4yo can get vaccinated which, as of right now hopefully spring of 2022
