Do you think Splash will go down for a refurb BEFORE the retheme?

Toying around with a quick late Feb trip now that I have an annual pass. Splash is our favorite attraction and we are trying to maximize rides before we get the PaTF version (which we are also excited for!).

obviously no one has a crystal ball, but what do you guys think? It skipped the winter refurb last year, so it’s definitely due, but when do you think we would hear something by?

I hope so. It’s my favorite attraction but there’s so much wrong with it right now and it’s not getting any care. It’s just sad. I hope we get another year or so with it and they do the winter refurb this year but my fear is that they’re just letting it die a slow death until it’s re-imagined.

I'm not really sure. I'm guessing yes as others have said, it skipped the one this year. It seems to require an annual refurbishment and since a date to start the remake hasn't been announced I can see it being closed in Jan and/or Feb 2022. That being said, they could just be waiting to announce the full remake date. Truly anyone's guess at this point.

I still have not seen an official date as to when it will close for its retheme. I suspect that is still not close to being done. I would expect a refurb next year, but only a guess. Just a guess, but I would expect to see Tron open before they close it for its retheme.
