I believe the minimum now for "blue card perks" is 100 points bought direct now.I would be interested in a small contract to get the "perks" as I own resale and want the blue card.
Around these parts, we alway hear “ Disney is playing the long game” there will be plenty of post to say why there will be no discounts and how the name brand alone will be enough to justify the price. Disney’s name won’t be able to live up to the same hype if they keep shafting the ones that support them during economic downturns. With resale prices getting more attractive , some prices rolled back to several years ago they would be foolish not to put out a nice offer
@Matty B13 Thanks for the link. I thought the minimums were lower when they first put in the restrictions back in 2016.
I think you'll see some type of deal announced once the parks open back up. I doubt they are selling many direct contracts right now and a deal isn't going to change that. With resale prices dropping, they'll need to do something to try to get people to buy direct. The current direct offers end today. Do you think Disney will release new direct offers and if so, do you think the incentives will be greater?
They are closed so they can’t sell direct right nowI think you'll see some type of deal announced once the parks open back up. You don't have to buy 100 or 75 if you get the right agent. Our agent in January was going to let us buy 50 as new members at Riviera. They were, it was only 25 points. It then went to 75 at some point and last September to 100.
That was with reference to getting the blue card. You can buy less but that doesn't help with getting the direct benefits. You don't have to buy 100 or 75 if you get the right agent. Our agent in January was going to let us buy 50 as new members at Riviera.
Ohhhh gotcha sorry about that! That was with reference to getting the blue card. You can buy less but that doesn't help with getting the direct benefits.

Has Disney ever incentivized "sold out" resorts?
As mentioned, this was for perks. I know you said you were offered it, but I’m surprised
That happened to me years ago, Guide said something and then cam back and said he couldn’t make it happen...it had been nixed by a supervisor,
I wonder if you had agreed if the higher ups would have approved.
