Do you think MK will have 8am openings for Jersey Week?

Last year, MK had regular (not EMH) 8am openings the Monday-Sunday of Jersey Week. Does anyone think that will happen again this year? So far everything is still reading 9am, even the party days. I have to make FP+ reservations in the morning and I'm just trying to decide when I want the first one to start in the morning.

Of course impossible to be sure, but more likely than not for the days MK closes early for either the staff event or Xmas parties and certainly possible for the other days as well. However, doubt this will be updated until mid-October.

That's what I was expecting, but then I noticed there are no 8am openings for the upcoming Halloween party dates.

I got blindsided by this last Nov. I made the schedule for our party of 11, wifey and I at Board Walk the rest off site. The morning of our MK day I was having a coffee and a cigar on the bench next to Atlantic Dance and I opened MDE to review our FP+ choices. To my horror I discovered that the opening time was changed to 8 am, screwing up our touring plans. No chance of rounding up the crew and getting there for RD so I'll have to keep monitoring park hours from now on.

Perhaps a subscription to Touring Plans would be worth looking into. One of the features is that you will get an email with park hour changes for your trip.

I would bet yes except for Nov 4 and 6 when they are doing early morning magic.

We're going the week following Jersey Week and, for any non-EMM day, I'm assuming that hours will change to an 8:00 open. For [at least, possibly farther back] the past two years, Jersey Week and that week after have had practically identical hours and hours changes. The past two years, the hours changes for November were released in early October.

Last year, MK mornings were changed to 8am, and evenings were changed to 11pm. They didn't change the hours until after I made fastpasses...I think it was some time in October. I'm tracking these days on Touring Plans and I'm thinking it will probably be the same.

I am banking on it and even plan to put a FP in at 8 am. Just going by the past 2 years and hoping it’s the same. It changed just about three weeks before and then FPs started opening up in the 8-9 slot. Makes for a 7 am EMH for the Friday of Jersey Week which has been an amazing experience for us.
