Do you think ME & the Dining Plan will be available in 2007?

When I made my reservations for Jan 2007, MS made a point of telling me that Magical Express and the Dining Plan may not be able for 2007. What does everyone think?

I was talking to a CM during our December visit and he told me that the local Orlando shuttle/bus/limo services were upset with Disney because they were losing a lot of business due to ME. That makes me think they might not continue ME.

As for the dining plan, I can't see why they wouldn't continue it.

Historically, when does Disney let us know about the programs available for next year?

DME will continue thru 2011. No word yet if it will continue to be "free". (I'd expect it will continue to free.)

The extent of the DP probably won't be announced for awhile.

Disney recently reached an agreement with Orlando International Airport to continue the Magical Express service for the next 5 years. I don't know if it will be free for all 5 years, or if they'll start charging for it at some point.

I haven't heard anything about the DDP going away. Disney will keep offering it as long as they keep making money on it.

I thought it was 3 years, but I could be wrong. Either way it will be there in 2007.

Magical Express will continue at no charge. We TAs weren't told of a date that it would end. There is no talk of ending the DMP.

Yes - Disney annouced that DME would remain complementary during the press conference held the day EE offically opened. I have no idea about the dining plan but if I were a betting girl, I'd bet it would stay
