I am wondering how people are feeling if we are eating some takeout food from some of CS restaurant while waiting for Fantasmic show starts.

To keep good view, it is better to go early to get the seat. But we don't want to waste a time to eat at restaurant location.

I know it is possible to do it because I saw a family taking out/eating something from ABC Commisionaly. I would like to know how people feel about the fact somebody eating right next to you at Fantasmic seat...

They sell food at Fantasmic, inside the venue, so I doubt anyone would care.

I don't see what the big deal is. There is food sold in the arena, so it won't make that much a difference. I myself like to bring in food from Rosie's.

No problem at all. I have sat there munching on a turkey leg more than once....enjoy!

We always bring snacks in! It helps to keep kids busy when they get restless waiting. :thumbsup2

We usually pick up something from Rosie's to have for dinner. The food stand inside the stadium usually has pretty long lines and the food isn't that wonderful. One trip when we were on the dining plan we got milkshakes from the 50's for dessert and ordered them to go and had those while we waited. Bringing your dinner in with you isn't going to bother anyone.

I plan on bringing snacks for the kiddies to keep them busy - just remember not to load up your stroller, cause you can't bring it inside.

No problem with bringing food or snacks in. As, I have done so myself on occasion. But, I do have a problem with people leaving thier garbage after they eat. It is not right. I have seen tons of cups and wrappers left in the arena. I say eat all you want. But, take your trash with you when you leave!:thumbsup2

Yes, I agree. I also hate the people who leave trash. When I saw people leave trash on their table or floor, I always sing in lower tone, "clean up, clean up" with my daughters

I hate when people do that! They do that at the movies too. The other day I went to the movies, and after it was over, someone had left a half-full bucket of popcorn on the floor which I didn't see, and accidentaly knocked over. I feel bad for the employees who clean up. Some people are such slobs.

While we havent brought food in, we have gotten drinks to go at the Tune Inn Lounge and brought those in to drink while we waited for the show. :thumbsup2

Oooh that sounds nice!

Thanks,

The only problem I ever had was a family that spread out their trays on the bench in front of them to eat off of (it was from the pizza place at MGM). The place was getting packed, and they kept their trays there, taking up space where 4-5 people could have sat. Even when the CMs started telling people to move towards the middle, and some of the family members were done eating, they left their trays there (we were sitting beside this family on the same bench, or I think I may have been tempted to sit on one of them). Finally, a CM came over and asked them to put the trays in their laps. They huffed about it like it was a huge inconvenience.

So, feel free to bring your CS meal, but don't set up your own personal "table" and keep others from getting a seat!

All WDW eateries that serve counter service are fine if you bring other WDW cs food into them. I have on several occasions brought in burgers from Rosie's since they only sell hot dogs at the amphitheater. Just like I have brought in a hot dog from Casey's to Pecos Bills since my dd doens't always want a burger. Now if you brought in Burger King, they might not like it but I doubt they'd even say anything!
