Do you think 5 mouse traps are enough

Hopefully your mouse will be as dumb as the ones we get every fall....within 2 hours of setting 1 (yes, 1) trap with a nice glob of peanut butter on it, they're done for!

If it were me and my house I'd have about 10. LOL Hubby and I did find out recently that we only need one trap though for three mice.

I guess I should also state that while we only need 1 trap...that's 1 trap PER MOUSE!

We buy the cheapo cheapo small wooden traps that are worth the 50 cents each to be able to just toss in the garbage without releasing Mr. Squished Mouse and re-using....in fact, my DH has a whole system of tying string to the trap, then using duck tape at the end of the string so that the string stays where you can get to it easily. After mouse gets trapped you pick up the string, hold everything out in front of you and head directly to the trash bin!

OOooooo yuck! Once, I used those sticky mouse traps and freaked out with a live mouse attached to it. I threw it outside (we lived on a ranch/farm) and the cats ran to it! I obviously wasn't thinking about the cats in my state of fear over the mouse. One of my cats ran after the trap and stepped on it as soon as it hit the ground. Then, I had a cat and a mouse stuck to the trap. I was so traumatized over it, I don't even remember how I got the cat free.
