I haven't seen any proof yet.

If this is about David Grusch the whistleblower, the stories are interesting, but I'm not entirely convinced. He's provided no evidence, and his statements have been "cleared for open publication" by the DoD. If he's been cleared to say all this, then it could easily be a false front. A story to divert attention from programs that the US wants to keep secret from foreign powers.

The military has done this before (look up Richard Doty). It's even possible Grusch himself believes in all this, maybe even was groomed to believe, but either way his coming forward isn't actually whistleblowing. If I'm not mistaken, from what I've read, the information he's revealing was told to him, not experienced by him firsthand.

Well, his news this week gave me the idea for the thread but so did this video:

No. I think most UFO’s are either our own prototype aircraft, or spy balloon type deals from other countries. The recent credulous news coverage of aliens strikes me as either an attempt to cover up something else, or an attempt to encourage people to report UFO sightings so that information can be used for counterespionage purposes.

No.....generally those claiming to have knowledge of some sort of UFO coverup eventually turn out to not be credible or have no real proof of anything. Some make a career of doing History channel shows that prove nothing.

No.

There are only two ways beings from other stars could get to our solar system, One would be below the speed of light using "generation ships" which would have to be large enough to sustain a significant number of passengers over centuries or millennia. The other would be some type of faster-than-light system (Aka Warp Drive) that would significantly shorten the time. They would be so far advanced than we that there could hardly be anything interesting about us to them.

Earth's resources?

NOTHING on this planet would be worthy of a *Rest Stop* to see what could be seen AND BESIDES, having the technology enabling getting here from somewhere out there I'm sure would include a *long scan capability* so like a detour taken when we drive somewhere, Earth would be DETOURED.

I'm all for a good conspiracy theory and those alien episodes of Unsolved Mysteries back in the 80s scared me.

It would not surprise me if we do have technology in our possession. Yet at the same time, if we had it, why didn't our technology advance sooner? Especially since some indigenous stories/carvings/paintings from eons ago feature what we would describe as alien beings. Guess we were not worthy, lol.
