I have problems with my breath. I asked my dentist if she had any ideas or medicine. She said she didn't. FWIW, I have no dental problems or anything. I haven't had a cavity in 15 years, and no periodontal problems. Believe me, I would love to know how to fix this. For now, I just constantly chew mints.

I wouldn't mind at all if someone said something to me, and they knew of a solution.
Do you eat a balanced diet? I remember studying bad breath, because it was interesting! I forget what, but diet imbalances can also cause it. Another weird cause was not brushing the gums, roof of mouth, and tongue. Although some folks who never brush thier tongue don't have bad breath.

If only I remembered so much about actual important stuff like strange diseases.

And, smoking. Duh.

Some medications give real moose breath! I took one once...EW! And not the best mints of gum helped much! You know its bad when you smell your own stinky breath!

But people with chronic bad breath usually have dental problems. :)

In college, I was partnered with a woman for anatomy lab and her breath smelled like hot garbage. :scared: :crazy2: I would look forward to the days when we would have to dissect something because the formaldahide (sp?) covered up her kickin' breath. :rolleyes1

one time i my daughter ripped a peace of duck tape off the role and she said" mom that smells like ___________ breath" and it did :lmao:
Is it sort of a sweet smell (the offensive breath)? :scratchin

I've got a friend that I've known my whole life, and I know her well enough to ask her what crawled down her throat and died. But if it isn't someone like that, I wouldn't say anything, I might offer them some gum or a mint or something though.

Yeah, it depends on how well you know the person. A close friend, honey, you know I love you, but you need a mint.
Someone not so close, have a handful and when you have at least one other person there, offer everyone a mint, including myself. If they hesitate, meet their eyes a second longer.
