I do but I only take advantage of it when the weather is bad.
(or when my kids are sick)

..oh when the weather outside is frightful..

I just sit by my pc at home its sooo delightful…

...let it snow ...let it snow...let it snow....

Sometimes -- only if I need to be home for something.

...or if, like the other night, I have to do work until midnight. :(

LOL Charlie!! :teeth:

A very nice option to have for sure.. . :) :) :)

I used to full time for my last job. It was so nice "attending" those weekly staff...sitting in front of my fireplace, drinking hot chocolate in the rocking chair, listening to the manager drone on and on about absolutely nothing.

ahhhhh...the good old days.

Willy it’s a nice perk ..but as you can see from Steve H’s post it is a double-edged sword. My company is big on telecommuting…sure why not…you now have employees who can work 24 hours a day..and I am often doing just that…becuase of those Bozo's oversea's in other time zones. How dare they be awake when I am supposed to be in bed.

But on snow days like today it is nice, beats sitting in traffic for 5 hours. (I did that once in my pre telecommuting days)

get me a hot chocolate;)

DH does. I love having him around all the time. :)

Amen to that. Sometimes SO has to take calls in the middle of the night from some hospitals and clinics they support in Australia, who have gone down. Do you know how much 2 hour phone calls to Australia cost? Thank goodness for cell phone reimbursements!

It's definitely a double-edged sword!! Unfortunately, our firm slogan tends to be, "Have laptop, will work anytime."

The good part is the flexibility it offers -- as long as the work's getting done, when you do it seems to be less important.

I used to when I had a job. :( As everyone else said, it has its perks, but I sure don't miss the expectancy that I'll work 24 hr/day. I would like to have a job again, though.

I do and really like it. Usually it's just in the afternoons after school is out and I'm in the office in the mornings. If the girls are sick or there is something I need to be at home for I work all day.

I agree it can be a double-edged sword, it's pretty easy to keep working on something longer than I would if I was at the office.

I do when I have to work at night- because I hate winding up being at the office at 230 in the morning

Chris does on occasion. It's especially nice when he's on call or has to take care of things in the middle of the night. I would love it, if he could do it one or two days a week.

DH does at least once a week, plus any time he's sick or the weather is bad. It's generally nice, but it about drove me nuts this week. He was sick Monday and Tuesday, and then Wednesday he had to come home early due to weather. Since that started after a weekend, that's 5 days in a row that he was home. I like the guy and everything, but I've got a routine for doing my housework, and he just gets in the way. ;) :)
