When you want to go into a shop, say, the Emporium, do you park your scooter outside or go in on it??
This is my first trip using a scooter. I had my knee replaced 5 months ago and don't want any issues while on vacation. So my mind is constantly racing and thinking about all the possible sennerios ahead of time. :thumbsup2

I do, if it isn't crazy busy. You just have to pay close attention to your driving. Go slow, and be extra watchful for people popping up in front of you.

We tend to park our scooter(s) outside and go through the shops. It’s less stressful and don’t have to worry about hitting anything/anyone 😁 But if it’s not busy and we’re planning on going to the end of the emporium ships, the. We might go in with them.

I do because I don't have much choice. I can't walk, and I have virtually no balance to stand. However, I will say that it's kind of funny to scooter through a place like Crystal Arts, with all the expensive breakables, watching the CMs try to keep a pleasant, casual smile on their faces, not too successfully, while they're so afraid I'll run into something. Fortunately, that's never happened nor even come close-driving a scooter is second nature.

Both. Ive parked and walked in if its too crowded or in Im in too much pain to walk at the moment. But I have no problem taking it in any shop either. A lot of people do so you will be fine if you need to stay on your scooter.

From reading the park policy it might be best to take the scooter with you inside the shop to protect your belongings or ask staff if you can park it whilst you go in the shop. Only thing is safety about parking it outside shop especially main street in Magic Kingdom where it's busy reason for my answer is because Disney has a policy that there's a rule against Obstructing sidewalks, entrances, driveways, patios, vestibules, stairways, corridors, halls or landings as mentioned on website.

When you arrive in the park you can always ask at guest experiences stand inside the park and ask about designated parking areas for your scooter.
