Do you take a vacation when maybe you shouldn't?

I think way too many people have difficulty in distinguishing "need" from "I want it really bad."

Definately agree here....especially with my life...Sometimes the need for vacation outweighs the debt issue.
I fall in this catagory....Last year my life was truly upside down and it was an extra vacation (actually 2, 1 WDW 1 not) that got me through it...I would have had a nervous breakdown if I hadn't....(an no I'm not exagerating, I've come very close a few years ago and it was getting bad again...) I need to look after me every few years debt or no debt....And I think other people have different tolerances for life's stresses and so one person's "want really bad" can be another person's *true* "need".
) so I can't really say for sure if I would vacation or not with credit card debt.

I would never venture to judge what works for someone else though. I agree with Caity, as long as you aren't defaulting on your debt, then its your business how and when you take your vacations!![]()
