Oh, I got it...I thought you took the photos THROUGH the plastic....that explains why the pics were so clear! Still a good idea but if one of those crashing waves come over the top and soak the bag....its over.
no it won't I tried it, those cameras come built in with ISO 800 cheap film and fixed-focus lens. I'll scan some of the pics taken using that camera on Splash Mountain and you'll see how bad they are.

My method was never meant to allow shooting while the camera is in the bag. It's possible, but not easy. I've been using this method for years and only took a picture from inside the bag once, during a torrential downpour at Epcot, when I though the water looked pretty with the rain stippling it:
Mostly, I use this method like a poncho, to keep the rain off my camera.
