Do You Swear/Curse?

Very rare for me to swear - I have to be pretty angry and when I do they are never the vulgar ones.

I have a gf who swears like a trooper and one day she complained to me "My (son) has been swearing".

oooooo BTW my curses are limited to the George Charlin 7 things you can't say on TV! Very basic & generic!!!! Sometimes I combine them into one single word!

It's George Carlin, not Charlin. He's a comedian -- one of the best ever.

My dad (navy vet) taught me to swear like a sailor & I'm X#%&!! proud of it ; only among my friends & family .

DSs have only heard me drop the "f" bomb a handful of times; gives them time to run for cover .

As a practicing Catholic, what else would I have to confess?

btw, products of parochial skool know the best combos .

It's like an artform for me! Na, I'm not proud of it and it can be a bad habit. I'm careful around the kids, at work, in CHURCH etc. I inherited it from my parents, God bless them, and they got it from their parents. It's taking some work, but hopefully I don't pass it on.

I'm in my early 30's (technically ) and heck, he's always been one of my favorites.

I still don't know what it was but I think I went from her usually hearing me say, "Jeepers" and "Darn it" to something a longshoreman might say. I think it probably involved the word mother.

Uh, yeah, I'm around cops all day - so I swear like a sailor, truck driver...you name it! But somehow I manage to only do it at work and not at home...well, I say s**t a lot does that count?
My mother and I were discussing what I was going to "give up" for Lent and I said "Swearing" and she goes "If you gave up swearing you wouldn't be able to speak"
